anything your PC can talk to:

Sound
Set up background loops and trigger sounds in various ways, create MIDI notes and chords for playing your own melodies. Ensemble uses your PC's soundcard to generate audio and MIDI, so all you need to do is connect a pair of speakers or headphones.
For those wanting to access even greater sonic variety, you can route MIDI to other internal software or output to a MIDI port. With an M-Audio Delta 1010 you can even decide which audio channel to send your sounds to and create a surround sound installation.
Video
Trigger and control images and videos on your PC screen or on an external projector. Add transition effects and create simple slide shows. Ensemble sends images to the PC's monitor, so no extra gear is required. A dual-monitor graphics card (or just an ordinary laptop) allows you to send image and video to a monitor and a projector simultaneously.
Lighting and effects
Ensemble uses DMX to talk to lighting – an industry standard that means you can control a huge range of lighting and special effects. Our USB-to-DMX cable makes the connection to your PC simple and comes with the Ensemble Media and Pro software as standard.
It's not just lighting that DMX can control. All kinds of effects machines are also DMX compatible, allowing you to create snow, fog, bubbles, wind and more.
Select from standard DMX blocks within the Ensemble Designer software or download custom lighting blocks from our support website. Now anyone can control stage lighting, with a wave of the hand or the touch of a finger.
Sensory Equipment
Create the perfect sensory room by using your EnsembleHub to control bubble tubes and fibre optic lightsources. The Hub can send messages to any of the Apollo range of interactive sensory equipment, allowing you to change colours and trigger bubbles. Control up to sixteen different items independently.
